Awesome Baked Beans

1 lb. bacon (cut into squares)

1-cup ketchup

1-cup brown sugar

1 small onion (diced or chopped)

1 Tbsp. vinegar

1 Tbsp. yellow mustard

1 lb. kielbasa

4 small or 2 tall cans B&M Baked Beans

 

In large pot on medium heat

Cook bacon and onion, drain fat.

Add ketchup, vinegar, and mustard, brown sugar and cook until thick and bubbly (Scrape bottom of pan)

Stir in beans and kielbasa and cook until heated through.

 

Camping Variation (Using cast Iron Dutch Oven)

Make a small pile of charcoal and light.  Place Dutch oven directly over hot charcoal when ready.  Cook bacon and onion, do not drain fat.

Add ketchup, vinegar, mustard, and brown sugar and cook until thick and bubbly (Stir frequently) (Scrape bottom of pan)

Stir in beans and kielbasa, cover and cook until heated through (Stir frequently).
