Saturday, March 3, 2007 is Troop 195's Polarwave Event.

Scouts and their families are invited to Polarwave. Please make your commitments for attendance to Mr. Lyon. There is a $10 fee per person (if you're tubing). Parents who are not in the tubing mood can attend and hang out in "the shack" drinking hot cocoa with Mr. Kostin. No charge, except for the beverages. Make checks out to "Troop 195."

Please obtain the permission slip for this event at hand it to Mr. Lyon. The permission slip is available on this Web page. (See the documents section to the right.) Permission slips are mandatory -- it's a liability thing.

Tubing begins at 10:00 AM, however, we plan to meet in the Kirk Road School parking lot at 8:30 AM to review logistics and then drive out, caravan style. (Wheels-up at 8:50 AM.)

For this event, transportation is not being centrally coordinated. If you are not attending as a family, please confirm driving arrangements for your kid(s) -- both to and from the event! Drive time to Polarwave is 51 minutes. (Google Maps.) Please note: we need to arrive early for check-in to maximize our slope-time.
